Due to the chalky nature of the soil and the different regional climate from the other regions, chickpeas with good skinning properties are grown in natural environments without being subjected to any chemical spraying or fertilization. The biggest difference between net chickpeas and other chickpeas is the production technique. Hairy chickpeas grown in the Ağın region are boiled in oak ash water in the established quarries. There is no boiling technique in the production of roasted chickpeas in other regions. Boiled chickpeas are roasted in one go with Bademli Village sand. Net chickpeas are peeled and packaged after a single roasting process.
