Walnut Fındıklı Köme is made into köme by collecting the fruit of the mulberry trees grown in the Çoruh valley of Artvin and using the traditional method. Wild mulberries grown in the valley are boiled in cauldrons and their must is extracted, and the must is boiled by adding flour, milk and honey. The mixture that the local people call herle is obtained. After the walnuts grown in the valley are sorted and stringed on a string, they are dipped and removed twice, and dried each time. After adding hazelnut pieces on the last layer, dipping is done again and the product is dried by hanging it on hangers.
